Better Rules, Massive Fleet Roster Expansion, Fleet Action 0.2 is Here


The long awaited update is finally here. Half way through reworking the system, I had a better idea which required redoing all the previous systems. I don't normally intend for updates to be this big or take nearly this long. Small changes are easier to test. There is no change log for this update because every single page was changed and over 100 pages were added.

Most fleets have been significantly expanded. That being said, many still have holes in their roster and the RIF Navy sadly got the short end of the stick. Making a cohesive navy for a multiple species conglomerate takes time to do it right so it doesn't just feel tacked on. Don't worry, those will be filled in time and the RIF will likely have the most extensive fleet when all is done.

I'm not entirely happy with the way electronic warfare is handled yet. More testing is required on that front but it's in a better state than before. Next on the list of updates while I wait on feedback from this release will be the first drafts of Vertigo's Heat Death and Ground War expansions. Ground War will likely be the first to be made available thanks to sharing so many rules and a good amount of testing with Fleet Action. The corebook will also be getting an update to its drones and frames since they'll have vehicles to actually be compared to and are massively under costed.
