Ground War's Beta Continues With 50 More Pages Added
Another test campaign of Ground War has finished and now those changes are ready to show off. 50 new pages were added as well as numerous rules changes made to better balance and speed up the game. The change log can be found below but the sheer number of changes means this particular log is not as comprehensive as previous updates. National rosters of equipment and vehicles continue to grow. More equipment has also been added with both stats for tactical and mass combat, making all new equipment compatible with the corebook.

Added elevation rules to terrain section
Filled in more command skills
Frame Command renamed to Cavalry Command
Added new drones and frames
Changed ammo tracking rules for infantry. Less weapons are tracked now (only those with Art, G, and L-G weapon codes) and a better defined amount of ammo can be carried based on ammo size and element composition.
Increased Shock trait bonus
Added first Eitenni and RIF vehicles
Added first Eitenni and RIF infantry elements
Added Tables of Organization and Equipment (TO/E) for factions
Removed blast from plasma mortars
Reduced strength and die count for most artillery attack pools
Reduced die count for tank cannons
Artillery Command Change: Level 1 is being changed from +/- Cir 1 to: "Weapons with the Art weapon code may now spend X dice from their attack pool to gain Cir X. All targets hit in the circle will have the reduced attack pool rolled against them."
Thermal Pike renamed to Thermal Caliver to reduce idea its a melee weapon
Mounted Thermal Pike renamed to Thermal Culverin for same reason
Added BM (Ballistic Missile) and ABM (Anti-Ballistic Missile) weapon codes, BM replaced Art for ballistic missile launchers and some AA vehicles gained ABM
Ord weapon code changed from chosen speed range bonus to remaining move as the added range bonus at the time of firing
Anti-air weapons have been reworked. This should cut down on the amount of "trading" in air combat.
Cover saves have been changed from a separate roll to be baked into to-hit rolls. This should help speed up the pace of the game.
Added new weapon type: Infantry Anti-Cav (IAC)
Omereth have been given a new "professional" rifle, their infantry elements have been updated
Fixed preconverted weapon prices for launchers, they didn't match the corebook
Aerospace vehicles were rebalanced and given rules for variable loadouts
Aerospace vehicles can no longer spot for artillery without some form of laser designator equipped
Reworked shields, added rules for physical shields
