Ground War expands Vertigo's rule set to a new scale of ground combat. These new rules support combat between multiple squad elements all the way up to planetary invasions, working seamlessly with the rules found in Fleet Action for truly cinematic battles. This is currently in open beta. The current roster is limited but rules are included for players to create their own elements and more vehicles and squads will be added with every update. Eventually all nine nations and several smaller factions will have full combat rosters of squads, ground and air vehicles. More features will be added along the way like additional support for long running campaigns, a solar system, orbital body and planet generator, and rules for players to create and run their own nations.

This expansion can be played standalone but it benefits greatly from the corebook found here, if only for the equipment lists. Like the corebook and its other expansions, the basic pdf of Ground War will always be free, with a paid full art pdf and hard copy being released in the future.

Any chance of a new update soon?

The next update for Ground War is my current priority.  Should be ready within a month. Hopefully sooner. Big changes coming, lots of QoL improvements.

Awesome. Been using this as a reference for a USR campaign, helped the players know what was standard issue before they started acquiring non-standard munitions, lol.

That is awesome to hear. I was curious if anyone was actually going to use those TO&Es. Good to know they've been helpful beyond helping me make sure each faction gets their arsenal rounded out.
